These pieces depict the limitations of what a machine can do or become. Humans are organic beings, we are have nuances and imperfections that a machine could never replicate. We have infinite complexity to us that we cannot comprehend nor reproduce into a machine- the creation of man. If God created lesser beings, we must also create lesser beings.

This was a solo exhibition i had at the Seerveld Gallery in Palos Heights, IL. The show depicts machinery in human scenarios. These drawings show technology having the essence of human qualities.
Intellect

A machine thinking with an organic human brain. Machines have a fairly linear way of thinking, unlike humans.
Religion

A machine as a religious figure. Humans only praise something higher than themselves. and since we create machines, they would be beneath us.
Emotion

A machine experiencing human emotion. Machines don’t have biological hearts and brains to feel the same sorrows as a human.
Birth

By definition, machines cannot be organic beings and cannot reproduce in a biological manner.
Spirit

Machines cannot be spiritual beings. Spirits come from our human desires. The desires for God, or the desire of being more than flesh and blood. Machines have no such desires.
