IQ2

This project was based off an Intelligence Squared Podcast (IQ2) debating whether or not Autonomous robots will crash the economy/democracy.

I take the stance in favor of the motion and depict my stance through the use of an isometric drawing which is both functional, and industrial. The multi- tiered tower depicts each industrial revolution, leading to the 4th which will be the introduction of autonomy.

The first industrial revolution: Iron, heavy cold machines, gray, smoke, Victorian.

The second industrial revolution: electric, oil, steel.

The third industrial revolution: Digital, computers, data, telecommunications.

Fourth industrial revolution: near future, quantum computing, biotech, nano-tech, autonomy, artificial intelligence.
