This Book discusses the stereo-chemistry study of Chirality. Chirality explains the 3-d spacial organization of molecules in things such as amino acids. Chiral, meaning “Hand“ in Greek, can be explained by using hands- your hands are mirror opposites to one another and can never be perfectly aligned in a 3-d space, this makes them Chiral because they have no symmetry to one another. Without Chirality, life would not exist.

The book is black because i thought of mirrors needing light to work. Black, like the absence of light. Only the images and text are lit up (white). A Coptic stitch binding was used so the pages could lay flat and it added to the aesthetic of the book itself having a hand crafted look, with the quill-script font and brush-stroke art work.
